New Bird Feeders

 I just realized that I hadn't taken any pictures of some of our new bird feeders.

Green Peanut Feeder. We purchased this at one of the big box stores, probably Wal-mart and we added a metal piece so that Blue Jays could get to the peanuts. 

Brown Hopper Feeder. This feeder is a gift that we have had for a while and we hung it up next to our big platform feeder.  The birdseed get stuck in the openings sometimes and the finches and other birds have to work a bit to get to it.

Leaf Feeder. This feeder is a gift that hung on our fence near our bluebird nest boxes.  We have been putting dried worms in it and after a few days the bluebirds found them.

Round Red Bottle Feeder. This feeder was another gift and we hung it up on our front porch this year.  We got some ant moats at one of the big box stores and as long as we keep some water in the moats, they are pretty good at keeping ants out of the feeders.  

Window Feeder 2.0  Our original window feeder was fading and some of the pieces were starting to break.  We found this one on Amazon. Hopefully the hummingbirds will like it just as much.

We received this beautiful glass bird bath for Christmas.  We have decided on what to hang on the other side of the shephard’s hook yet.  It might be a good place to hang a hummingbird swing, but it’s not real easily seen from inside the house.
